Congratulations to SBS 8th grade student Lexi Cronin for taking 1st place in our local Knights of Columbus Essay contest! The topic of the essay was, “Of the 267 Popes that have led the Catholic Church, who were your favorite three and why?”

Committee members from the KOC were so impressed by the submissions on this complex topic, they also awarded prizes to 8th graders Faith Sullivan, Isabella Shan (not pictured), and Abbie Vo for their articulate and creative submissions. Abbie Vo also won the Keep Christ in Christmas poster contest for the upper grade students.
