Shroud of Turin

Yesterday, our 7th and 8th grade students had the opportunity to attend a special lecture on the Shroud of Turin, presented by Deacon Alan Germain. Deacon Germain has spent many years studying the history, scientific research, and biblical references surrounding this important religious artifact, including a visit to Turin, Italy, where the Holy Shroud is preserved.  View More

Science Showcase

Our 7th & 8th grade students did an amazing job yesterday showcasing their research on a scientific topic of their choosing and presenting their findings to their younger peers. Additionally, 5th & 6th grade students organized a display of their science fair projects for the SBS community to enjoy.  View More

St. Patrick's Day Fun

Yesterday, our preschool three- and four-year-old classes took part in fun, themed activities to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. In math, we sorted and graphed Lucky Charms and used different tools for measuring. The children also embarked on a thrilling scavenger hunt to find a pot of gold, which led them to an exciting science experiment.  View More

Amazing Hero Artist Visits SBS

Yesterday afternoon, our Pre-K through Grade 8 students enjoyed an inspiring assembly with professional artist, Rob Surette.  Mr. Surette is a Top-Tier Master Fine Artist for Disney and other well-known organizations such as Marvel, DreamWorks, and DC Comics.

Shadow Stations of the Cross

On Friday, our K–8 community gathered for one final Lenten prayer service before spring recess - a silhouetted presentation of the Stations of the Cross.  Led by the 7th grade class using shadows, narration, and prayerful music, students and staff were guided through a meaningful reflection of Christ’s final journey.  ✝️  View More

Museum Visit

Shortly before Christmas break, SBS 7th & 8th grade students visited the Blessed Michael McGivney Pilgrimage Center in New Haven to explore their exhibits of Christmas in Africa, Away in a Manger: The Creation of Nativity Scenes, and the Christmas Tree Festival.  View More
