On Friday, a small group of 3rd - 5th grade students from both of our parish schools traveled to the Blessed Michael McGivney Pilgrimage Center in New Haven to decorate trees for their Christmas Tree Festival exhibit. Using ornaments and a paper chain created by students after school on November 13th - Saint Bridget School students decorated a tree to represent our school, while students from Saint Bridget School decorated a second tree for their school.
As part of their experience, students also enjoyed a guided tour of the full The Spirit of Christmas exhibit, which features crèches and other artwork from around the globe celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
A great big thank you to our campus minister, Stephanie Holmes, for organizing this great experience for our students! Here are some pictures from our awesome parent volunteer chaperones.
